I came up with the idea of creating this website few months after I moved to Basel. I really missed a platform, where I could read about the Swiss life seen through the eyes of an expat. A platform where I could find interesting events, learn more about daily life, food and worth-visiting places. And Girl in Basel is this all together. It’s my personal project where I share everything I find interesting in this city and country.
My name is Magdalena and I’m originally from Poland. I live in Basel since December 2015. I moved to Switzerland to join my boyfriend, whom I met during my summer practice in Florence.
I’ve got Masters in Law with international experience gained in Poland, Italy, United States and Switzerland. I’m also a plus size model signed with German and Swiss agencies. And above all – I’m an expat. Girl in Basel.
